Whin Park

Whin Park has the largest and best outdoor park and free children's play area in Inverness. Just a 5-minute drive or a 20-minute walk from the centre of Inverness along the banks of the beautiful River Ness, the park is ideally situated for a great family day out.

Access to the park is free and open 365 days a year. In the park there is a boating pond with 27 rowing and paddle boats for hire, a miniature railway, a large play area with slides, swings, rope climbs, a children's assault course, picnic areas, and of course there is also a lovely ice cream & coffee shop for those essential refreshments!

The boats are open 7 days a week from the beginning of April (or Easter whichever is earlier) until September. The shop is open when weather permits throughout all the year.
