Nevis Range Ski Resort

The base of the snowsports area is accessed by the UK’s only Mountain Gondola taking visitors from the car park to 2,150 feet.

For families, the beginner's area is literally a stone’s throw away from the Snowgoose Restaurant at the Top Station, with a variety of easy green and blue graded runs.

Further up the mountain is an extensive network of red and black runs, as well as our terrain park.

Here you'll also find the impressive off-piste expanse of the Back Corries with steep runs to challenge even the most experienced of skiers. Nevis Range also has a wide range of alternative winter activities to offer, from sledging to snowshoeing.

The Snowsports School is fantastic with instructors that are ISIA qualified, able to provide lessons for all abilities from complete beginners to experienced snowsports enthusiasts.

Group lessons run every morning (10am-12pm) and afternoon (1.30-3.30pm).  The minimum age for group lessons is 7 for skiers and 9 for snowboarders and for younger children we offer a special private lesson price.

Private lessons are one hour long and are dependent on instructor availability if you would like a private lesson please consider booking in advance.

For those who love the snow but don’t want to ski or board you can also go sledging! Sledges are available to rent or buy onsite.

  • Order a Chocolate Mountain from the Snowgoose Restaurant to keep your energy levels up.

  • Long socks are not ski socks - invest in some proper ski socks and you’ll have toasty feet all day.
